May 29, 2007. Get ready for one of the most talked about duets in R&B history. MediaTakeOut.com just learned that Beyonce has signed on to do a duet with R&B singer Rihanna. And that's not all. According to a Def Jam insider, Jay Z will also be featured on the song.
The tipster tells MediaTakeOut.com, "We're not sure yet whether it'll be a new track or a [remix] of one from [Rihanna's new album] Good Girl Gone Bad." The insider continues, "Everyone's pretty excited about the collabo ... [Jay Z's] a genius for pulling this off."
And Jay Z deserves a lot of credit for getting the ladies to agree to the track. Beyonce and Jay Z have dated for more than 4 years and the two are currently engaged. But last year Rihanna made headlines when she was rumored to have had an affair with the Def Jam president. Since then, the two ladies have reportedly been at odds with each other.
