Beyonce joining Jay-Z's Def Jam label?


Beyonce Knowles is reportedly jumping ship to boyfriend Jay-Z’s Def Jam record label, so the rap mogul can “oversee” her career.

The R&B superstar’s contract with Sony’s Columbia label is due to expire after her two next albums, after which insiders say Beyonce will sign to Island Def Jam to work with the rapper, real name Shawn Carter.

"(Carter) has been trying to get her to Def Jam for a while. He would love to oversee her career - he kind of does anyway," a source told PageSix.
